Early adopters of retail virtual reality practices are actually setting themselves up for success as it is expected that eventually VR will radically influence customer experiences in the future and become the next form of digital commerce. A growing percent of retail brands are actively involved with VR for the benefit of generating audience insights. Virtual reality is proving itself both dependable and inexpensive compared to other avenues of research. Furthermore, retailers are flocking to the technology as they are discovering that VR market research uniquely provides a lens into future customer demands that no amount of data or retail market estimates can replicate

Online Virtual Research FAQs
What is online virtual research?

What are the differences in outputs between online virtual research and virtual reality research?
Virtual reality research offers the most realistic shopping experience due to its immersive quality and incredibly accurate insights via eye tracking that is built into the headset. While both research methods will provide the same data outputs, information collected from online virtual research webcam and mouse tracking will not be as robust and succinct as what is provided from the advanced nature of virtual reality research. Online virtual research provides an improved way to conduct research and gather information online from remote respondents with a computer.
